Tim Beveridge is one of New Zealand’s top singing sensations and has made a name for himself locally and internationally.

He can entertain as MC, solo performer, as part of a trio or even with a whole big band and turn your night into a “Night in Vegas”. No matter what you choose Tim for, he is sure to entertain.

Tim Beveridge recently released his new album that was recorded in Hollywood with the Buddy Childers Band, arranged and conducted by the legendary Russ Garcia. The album marks an exciting new direction for Tim who has established himself as one of NZ’s finest singers and concert performers.

Prior to this Tim was recognised as one of the top voices in the world of musical theatre, winning places in the final of the world’s most prestigious musical theatre competition, the BBC Voice of Musical Theatre in Cardiff in both 2000 and 2002.

Originally from Rotorua, Tim began pursuing a musical career after graduating (in law) from Otago University in 1989.

He has performed in numerous concerts throughout NZ. These include the inaugural Lakeside ’97 with the Auckland Philharmonia as a special guest with Sir Howard Morrison, Schweppes Showtime and Sky City Starlight Symphony at the Auckland Domain. He has sung with Dame Malvina Major on many occasions; Lakeside ’99, Parachute Festival’s Opera in the Park for World Vision, Gala Opening of the Nelson Winter Festival and the National launch of the Waikato Performing Arts Centre

He also performed in Last Night of the Proms 1999, 2000 and 2002 in Christchurch and ENZSO at Lakeside 2001 in Rotorua with the Auckland Philharmonia. Other engagements include the Blockbusters 2001 series with the APO, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Baritones which Tim co-produced with fellow NZ singer Jonathan Brooke Densem and the Christchurch Symphony and Lakeside 2002 alongside Sir Howard Morrison and Dame Malvina Major. Recent concerts include performances with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra in a celebration of Richard Rodgers and Nelson Opera in the Park. Earlier this year Tim starred in Stadium Spectacular in Wellington.

He has performed many principal roles in musical theatre. At the age of 29, Tim understudied and performed both the roles of The Phantom __and __Raoul in the Sydney production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, being one of the youngest performers to have performed the coveted role. Other roles include Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Boulevard (Australasian premiere), Evita, Me and My Girl, Anything Goes and Carousel.

In 2002 Tim collaborated with some of NZ’s top musicians, including Eddie Rayner and legendary US arranger Russ Garcia, to produce his debut album Singer with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. In 2003 he toured the USA with performances in Los Angeles, San Diego and Palm Springs showcasing The Best of NZ.

To top it all, Tim regularly sings the national anthem for the All Blacks.
