Tony Fountain is an achiever who has lived through tough times as well as good. In his own words he has "climbed the stairway to heaven, and walked the halls of hell".

He has a strong rural and business background.

He took a small town stock and station agency and transformed it into one of the leaders in the pleasure horse auctioneering field in Australia, as well as founding what is now that country's largest rural merchandising company, Combined Rural Traders Ltd. He was the editor and publisher of three livestock magazines, The Drovers Journal, The Cattleman and Australian Angora News – and is an accredited beef cattle judge.

As a successful auctioneer, he also launched the auction operations in Sydney and NSW for Ray White Real Estate Ltd, and in just three years they were market leaders in their field.

He has lived though personal trauma, and following a triple by-pass heart operation turned his back on his career, and opted to sail on a voyage of life that combines his speaking career with chasing his boyhood dream. Little wonder they call him The Rainbow Chaser.

Tony's presentations are inspirational, full of humour, and focus on achieving success, how to make the internet your friend, or franchising. He is a regular keynote speaker at conferences and seminars in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the USA.

Favourite quotes

  • “All men dream, but not equally. For the Dreamers of the Night awaken to find that it was merely their vanity. But the Dreamers of the Day are the dangerous ones for they dream with their eyes open and they make things happen.” Lawrence of Arabia, 'Seven Pillars of Wisdom'

  • There is no greater incentive for success than the winds of disaster blowing up your arse.

  • Man must choose whether to be rich in things, or rich in the freedom with which to enjoy them.
