Murray McCaw is acknowledged as a successful marketing and management practitioner.

Murray has a particular interest in the development of customer-oriented practices and procedures in organisations, and specialises in development of corporate strategy and organisational culture. He believes businesses must align their vision to both the marketplace and the customer.

His diverse business experience means he relates well to a range of industries. He has spoken to conferences and consulted with a number of companies in New Zealand, Australia and the United States on a variety of subjects including customer service, technology, marketing and strategic issues.

Murray is a graduate of the Harvard University Management Programme. From early days at the Bank of New Zealand and his role as General Manager – Marketing, at Mitsubishi where he became renowned for the introduction of the "Diamond Care" customer service philosophy, Murray has specialised in developing and growing a wide range of businesses.

He has worked in top level management as General Manager – Energy, Waitemata Electricity in the then newly deregulated environment, as Managing Director of Colmar Brunton Research, CEO of Infinity Solutions – a $100m company with approximately 430 staff – now one of New Zealand’s largest IT outsourcing companies where he remains a member of the board.

Murray recently purchased the Australasian rights to a photography business called Sports Section. The first franchise opened in Wellington and McCaw intends setting up with 12 franchisees around New Zealand and at least 24 in Australia.
