Ken Ring is a former mathematics teacher who began his business, Predict Weather Limited in 2002 to supply farmers with something more meaningful than a day-before forecasting system.

He is a regular guest on TV and radio, with weekly spots on Solid Gold FM and a number of regional radio stations. He has columns in farming magazines and also regional newspapers.

Ken presents at conferences throughout New Zealand and is the author of 13 books on weather and climate in NZ including the yearly Weather Almanacs. These publications (now in their 10th year) have a strong following amongst the many whose business or leisure activities are affected by the weather.

Ken is New Zealand’s only published long range forecaster and will deliver an entertaining and educational address.
