Heather Swan
Heather Swan is an accomplished professional speaker, mountaineer, rock climber, BASEjumper, skydiver and an author, wife and the mother of two children and two stepchildren.
Heather is also a former corporate executive with 15 years experience in senior Marketing and Management positions.
In 1999, together with her husband Dr. Glenn Singleman, Heather embarked on a highly ambitious project. She had never been skydiving or climbed any mountain yet she planned to attempt to break Glenn's World Record for Altitude BASEjumping.
Featured in the documentary 'BASEClimb 2 – Defying Gravity', Heather's incredible story tells how she overcame a near fatal training accident and her subsequent terror to develop the physical skill and fitness to take on the world record attempt. This was all while successfully juggling her family, life and career.
Heather's keynote inspires audiences to step outside their comfort zone and demonstrates that anything is possible. She is the author of 'Defying Gravity, Defying Fear'.
She also speaks as a duo with Glenn Singleman – their presentation weaving powerful personal and business lessons into their riveting story. The story is supported by a stunning multimedia show that creates a presentation of exceptional impact.
