Autocar columnist since 1967 and personal friends with many of the world's top racing drivers over the years, he gives an insider's view of this exciting world, from the more relaxed 1960s through to the present big-money high-tech scene.
All the major races are included – from the glitz of the Monaco Grand Prix to the slog of the Le Mans 24 hour race, the razzmatazz of the Indianapolis 500, the thunder of the big Can-Am sports racing cars, and the Tasman races in New Zealand and Australia.
