Dave Wiggins
WINNER of Best Newcomer NZ Comedy Guild ’03 and NZ Comedy International Festival ’04.Originally from the States, Dave moved to New Zealand in 2002, and a year later he entered the Raw Comedy Quest.
Despite only having done a few gigs Dave made it to the finals. From that he has become a regular face in the NZ comedy scene having performed at clubs, conferences, pubs and events all over New Zealand.
Dave has also featured at festivals such as NZ Fringe, World Buskers Festival, Parachute Music Festival, Hamilton Summer Gardens Festival and the New Zealand and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals.
Dave brings an outsider’s look at Kiwi culture and has developed his own unique style of stand up. He is a breath of fresh air as a comedian who brings 'clean' comedy to your corporate event. Able to appeal to a wide cross section of people, he is a fresh, young performer with a great comedic talent.
