Bruce Hopkins is acknowledged as one of the best MCs in the business. Bruce is also regarded as one of New Zealands most versatile film, television, radio and stage performers. His featured role in Peter Jacksons Lord Of The Rings trilogy of films, as well as the many other credits he has to his name, mean that Bruce also adds just the right amount of ‘star’ quality to his role as an MC, without detracting from the job at hand. With his wealth of life experience, from commercial crayfishing through to blockbuster film making, Bruce has developed a unique style, always the professional, yet with a great humour and an ability to ensure every event flows seamlessly.

Bruce Hopkins has been a professional MC for over 15 yrs. Being fascinated by and passionate about the diversity of the human experience, Bruce thrives on working with both large and small groups of people, in both formal and informal settings. He creates an atmosphere that will have your delegates and audiences relaxed while being focused on the event at hand.

Born a 4th generation Stewart Islander, Bruce has an impressive resume as an MC that includes clients such as;

Bruce is a committee member of the Auckland branch of the Speakers Association of NZ, a member of the Performers Committee for Actors Equity NZ and was a founding trustee of Auckland’s renowned Watershed Theatre.

As well as MCing, Bruce is a voice artist, an actor, and a coffee roaster, he enjoys surfing, playing incredibly average guitar, and spending as much time as he can with his family.
