John Lees has a strong commercial and retail background and a wealth of experience in sales and marketing.

John emigrated to Australia from the UK in 1969. After just three years with the Reckitts Group he was recruited as National Sales Manager for Schwarzkopf, an international German–based company, and later appointed Director of Sales and Marketing in Australia and New Zealand.

Under his leadership and as a direct result of John's emphasis on the value of client service, the subsidiary in Australia became the most successful and profitable operation in their worldwide network. The company appointed him as special consultant on marketing issues and client service concepts, and in 1986 the Chairman in Hamburg appointed him International Marketing Consultant.

John is the author of nine business books including The Move from Order-Taker to Sales-Maker, Successful Sales Management and Small Business is Never Good or Bad... It's What YOU Make It!. His most recent releases are The Incredible Power Of "Centre-Field Marketing" and The Focus, Thoughts & Actions Of High-Achievers In Business.

John is recognised in Australia as the leading exponent on Customer Centred Selling, with a strong focus on the value of client service. He is a compelling speaker with a unique style that combines a high quality message with entertainment.
