Wil Anderson
World renowned stand up comedian Wil Anderson is no stranger to the stage. Having performed more than a hundred shows a year. His routine covers everything that is in his imagination, it takes you on a high speed journey through his psyche and beyond. He delivers with more enthusiasm and conviction than any man’s vocal chords can take.
He has performed extensively throughout the northern hemisphere in such places as London, Edinburgh, Montreal and Los Angeles. In 2009 he released his second book ‘Friendly Fire’ and his first stand up DVD, recorded at the Sydney Opera House called ‘Wilosophy’.
2010 has been a busy year for Wil, making guest appearances on popular late night comedy talk show ‘Chelsea Lately’. And he is also returning to host another series of the top rating show ‘The Gruen Transfer’. He was nominated for a Gold Logie for this role and the series has also spawned off an Election spin off ‘The Gruen Nation’.
In amongst hosting smash hit TV shows, Wil has been busy touring his hit new live show Wilful Misconduct selling out venues around Australia, earning rave reviews and winning the Bulmer's People’s Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Wilful Misconduct was also nominated for the prestigious Barry Award for best show at the same festival, proving that this world class comedian is definitely at the top of his game.
