Nick Nickolas
Nick Nickolas has travelled the world amusing audiences with his magical capers and comedy performances.
This London-born entertainer started performing magic at the age of 14. At 15 he was giving street performances and has since travelled extensively, to Canada, USA, Holland, Norway, France, Fiji, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore and Australia, performing and entertaining as he goes.
In February 1992, Nick came to New Zealand to compete in the Lotto World Buskers competition in Wellington, and won. The following year he won the DB Auckland Comedy Quest. He has supported Dave Dobbyn and Hello Sailor on national tours.
He has won numerous awards. In 2000, he was winner of the Rotterdam Straat Fest in Holland. In the 2004 Australian Magic Awards Nick won Best Close-Up Act and Most Entertaining Act. The following year he was winner of Best Comedian, Australian University/College Circuit. He has performed in arts and comedy festivals worldwide; and for corporates and conferences around the world.
Nick has achieved international recognition as an entertainer and teacher amongst his peers and clients alike. He performs magic, juggling acts, uses whips, escape routines, acrobatics and mime and will tailor a performance to suit your specific requirements.
