Dillon Boucher
A member of the NZ Men's Basketball team since 1999, Dillon was part of the successful Tall Blacks team at the 2002 World Championships. Against the odds, the team placed fourth in the tournament, above the USA Dream Team.
In 2003 Dillon was the Tall Blacks representative to accept both the team and overall awards at the Say When Halberg Awards.
Dillon has been a member of NBL Championship Teams in 1995, 96, 97, 99 and 2000 (Auckland) and 2002 (Waikato) – in which Dillon shot winning free throws to win the game. He holds the record for most number of NBL titles won (eight). Dillon was voted Kiwi MVP and member of the All-Star Five in the 2003 league, and played two seasons for the Harvey Norman NZ Breakers before signing with Perth Wildcats in 2005/06. Boucher will join Brisbane Bullets next season.
Dillon is passionate about basketball and encouraging everyone to be involved in sport. With a background in business and coaching, Dillon is easily able to draw parallels between his sporting experiences and corporate success. His speaking topics include teamwork, leadership, coaching, motivation and general lifestyle.
