With mischievous confidence, a variety of talents including dynamic guitar, haunting harmonica, stylish keyboards, a great voice, inspiring wit, and with years of experience, Chris Moore turns functions into successful parties. Audiences respond quickly to his music, comedy, energy and enthusiasm.
Chris uses the Internet to get the latest and greatest songs and edits them on his computer to produce special dance mix mini-discs for use between sets. He has an excellent sound system, incorporating the best of __Bose __and JBL and locally made mixer and amps.
He is a natural musician, able to improvise with guitar, harmonica and specialised dance keyboard. He is also a natural entertainer, quick with humour and able to weave an atmosphere around his sound and stimulate audiences to sing and dance. He delivers his own versions of the great popular songs loved the world over, with New Zealand flavour, spiced with wit, stories, musical facts, history, interesting lyrics and delivered with fresh energy and expertise.
Within minutes of getting on stage, he will be off again, moving around tables with his guitar, introducing himself, interacting with the audience, and inducing people to sing. He is able to get large crowds singing together within minutes of beginning his show. His infectious enthusiasm, spontaneity and great musicianship soon has audiences in a frenzy of fun.
Chris Moore is also an acclaimed songwriter; New Zealand Musician magazine claimed "He has better lyrics than Finn, Fagan, or Hunt", and his show features original songs from his trilogy of CDs.
