Tony Christiansen - International Bobsledder

Tony Christiansen has just been to Utah to an International Bobsled training school for drivers and completed 14 runs down the Olympic Course at Utah Olympic Park. He said it was so fast and so much fun! He may have the opportunity to drive in some world cup races over the next few years and if able, compete at the Winter Olympics in Korea 2018.

New Years Honours 2012

Congratulations to all of the recipients of 2012 New Years Honours for their services to our country. Sir Graham Henry has been made a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to rugby, Martin Snedden has been made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to sporting administration and John Anderson has been made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to tourism.
